We all have busy schedules, that is why Barker Canine Academy provides personalized private dog training classes.

Are you interested in getting your dog certified as an AKC Canine Good Citizen? I am a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator! I will help guide you through each part of the test and when you are ready I will perform the test and submit the results to the AKC. If your dog has passed the test you will receive a certificate in the mail from the American Kennel Club.

Do you have a dog that does not qualify for group training classes? Does your dog suffer from anxiety or aggression? I can help with that too!

I will come to you! I provide personalized training sessions that are designed around your goals while accounting for your pet's individualized needs. I am like your dog's life coach!

My social responsibility is to work with dogs and their owners preventing and solving behavior issues that can result in relinquishment to a shelter or possibly even euthanasia. My goal is to provide good personalized positive training that will enrich not only the life of the pet but the life of the owners as well!

Passionately, I dedicate myself to each of my clients to ensure their goals are successful. I create a personalized curriculum using positive training methods that are simple to follow. Rosina started Barker Canine Academy in 2018. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 10 years of experience in the veterinary field. She is also a Certified Dog Trainer with over 6 years of experience animal training.

A graduate of CATCH Academy and a certified dog trainer.

She is also a student at Texas A&M University studying Agriculture Journalism with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Animals have always been her passion.

Athena joined Barker Canine Academy in 2020. She assists the dog trainers with their sessions providing extra distraction and practicing meeting a friendly stranger. She has true natural gift with dogs. She is very excited to begin her training to become our next Dog Trainer.
